Mario Carini was born in 1951 in Germany. A year later his parents immigrated to Canada where they have lived since.
His one passion early in childhood was to be a writer of fiction. Unfortunately he was discouraged in pursuing this course with the admonition to get an education, find a job an settle down.
Mario studied electronics at Dawson College (CEGEP) and a 10 month course in computer technology at Control Data Institute. He held down a number of jobs before moving out west where he lived for 7 years in Calgary, Alberta where he married.
After a divorce he moved back east to assume the duties of a manager at the family woodstove business. After a number of years his father shut the business down. Mario then turned to the Internet to start a home-based business. But while he tried many programs there were few that promised a good income. SFI was perhaps the only affiliate program that paid every month. While Mario is not active, he still receives a small income from SFI.
He currently works as a security officer in Ottawa, Ontario. His ambition is twofold:
First: To put up a website with products and information in the way of ebooks he is currently writing to help those who, like him, are diabetic. His webstie is located at: http://www.newagediabetic.com
Second: To move more into the capacity as a writer as a way to replace his current job. He has had some success in the writing of articles, though has not until now realized the possibilities of a full time business as a freelancer. To that end he is planning to build a website to showcase some work he has done. He has a blog through both Blogger and WordPress and has submitted articles to Helium and writes articles for submission to SubmitYourArticle.com.
Among other interests are computer graphics, gardening and travel.
Ultimately, he hopes to become fully independent working from home doing the things he loves best.
