“Plans are only good intentions unless they degenerate into hard work.”plans, Peter Drucker
Many people find it hard to create a plan of achievement. Their goals are vague. Even if they know what they want to achieve, they don’t know what steps they should take to reach their goals.
The future is something they see loaded with risk that will derail their plans and they don’t feel comfortable in starting something that might bankrupt them. Failure and success are equally possible. The fear of failure is irrational. It freezes many to inaction. But even a well thought out plans of corporate executives can and do fail.
But plans are meant to be implemented. Life cannot succeed unless there is something to strive for. No matter what the ultimate goal might be or how long it may take to put a plan into action, effort is required. Anything worthwhile achieving requires a good deal of hard work. The feeling of achieving a goal is directly related to how much effort was expended to reach the goal.
Many want to be successful, but the trivialities of a hectic lifestyle removes the time needed to make a start toward a goal. Not that time isn’t available. Most people are simply too disorganized and waste a great deal of time before they make a start. They haven’t set the right priorities. Failing to make a start, no matter how small that first step might be, is, as Peter Drucker points out, is just mere intentions.
If you have a plan, there’s only one solution and that is to stop procrastinating and get active. Every step taken will move you that much closer to your goal.
